A number of 177,700 doses of the Moderna vaccine arrived in Bucharest being stored at the National Company "Unifarm" SA, the National Coordinating Committee of Vaccination Activities against COVID-19 informs on Friday.
The transport is provided by the manufacturing company, and the vaccine doses were brought to Bucharest by land.
"The doses have been deposited with the National Company" Unifarm "SA, and in the next period they will be distributed to the existing regional centres at the national level. The storage facility of the state-owned company "Unifarm" SA is fully authorized and approved by the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices in Romania (ANMDMR), which regulated the field of medicine for human use in Romania," the same source informs.
To date, 3,537,400 doses of the Moderna vaccine have been received and 984,373 have already been used to immunise the population, Agerpres informs.
