The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) approved on Friday a new decision on updating the list of countries / territories of high epidemiological risk, eliminating from the red zone, among others, South Africa, Brazil and India, Agerpres reports.
Thus, CNSU Decision No 4/2022 includes as main provisions:
* the update to the list of countries / territories with a high epidemiological risk, only in the case of the member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area, and maintaining the incidence rates from the previous week in the case of third countries;
* the exclusion from the red zone of the following countries / areas with high epidemiological risk: South Africa, Brazil, India, Nepal, Botswana, Eswatini, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Leshoto, Mozambique, Malawi, Angola and Zambia.
