The National Confederation for Women's Entrepreneurship (CONAF) and the Mehedinti County School Inspectorate signed the Collaboration Agreement - "Pact for Entrepreneurship Education", a strategic approach dedicated to the development of entrepreneurial skills among high school students in Mehedinti County, through innovative approaches in the teaching and learning process.
"The collaboration agreement represents an essential step at the county level to consolidate entrepreneurial education as a pillar of youth training, being an integral part of the CONAF national vision regarding connecting the school with the real economy, with vocation, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit. Through this partnership, Mehedinti County joins a national network of counties that concretely assume the responsibility of preparing young people for the challenges of the future economy. (...) Through this pact, CONAF and the Mehedinti County School Inspectorate assume the joint role of creating relevant educational contexts, which support students in discovering their vocation, developing entrepreneurial skills and cultivating critical thinking, initiative and economic responsibility," a CONAF press release, sent to AGERPRES on Tuesday, states.
According to the cited source, a major objective of the agreement is the organization of the Entrepreneurship Education Marathon for the first time in Mehedinti County - an educational competition with national coverage, now in its fourth edition, which offers high school students the opportunity to transform ideas into projects, to work in teams, to test their creativity and to make the transition from theory to concrete applications, anchored in economic reality.
"The signing of the Collaboration Agreement - Pact for Entrepreneurship Education with the Mehedin?i County School Inspectorate is a declaration of responsibility towards the future of this community. Entrepreneurship education is a strategic necessity, in a rapidly changing economy that needs young people prepared to think freely, create value and take the initiative. Through this partnership, we open access to applied education, connected to reality and to their own potential, for high school students in Mehedinti," said the president of CONAF Mehedinti Branch, Alexandra Di Battista, quoted in the press release.
In turn, the general school inspector of ISJ Mehedinti, Cristian Harcau, emphasized the importance of this partnership for the local educational system.
"The agreement signed with CONAF represents a real opportunity for students from Mehedinti County to discover their vocation and acquire essential skills for their future integration into the labor market. The Entrepreneurship Education Marathon will add value to the educational process and contribute to the formation of a generation of more confident, more involved and better prepared young people for life," he said.
Through this partnership, CONAF reaffirms its commitment to building, at a national level, a culture of entrepreneurial education, in which school, the business environment and the community collaborate to offer young people real chances for development and integration into a competitive and sustainable economy.
