The customs officers from Constanta Sud confiscated approximately 7,000 pairs of sports shoes likely to be counterfeit, worth over 16 million RON, informs the Romanian Customs Authority, in a pres release sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.
"Customs inspectors from the South Constanta Border Customs Office seized approximately 7,000 pairs of sports shoes likely to be counterfeit. The footwear has a total value of approximately 16,000,000 RON and was discovered as a result of the physical control carried out on the goods in - a container arrived from China, belonging to a commercial company based in Ukraine," the press release reads.
According to the cited source, counterfeit goods present risks that endanger the health and safety of citizens.AGERPRES
