Croatia's Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic on Friday was welcomed by Romania's Prime Minister Viorica Dancila with military honours at Victoria Palace, house of the Romanian government.
During the ceremony, the anthems of Romania and Croatia were played and the Military Guard of Honour was reviewed.
After the official photo, the two prime ministers held official talks attended also by official delegates.
The talks will be followed by the signing, in the presence of the prime ministers, of the "Declaration of Intent between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on Strengthening Bilateral Co-operation in Defence and Security Areas."
The Croatian Prime Minister will then hold a joint news conference alongside the Romanian prime minister.
During his visit to Romania, Plenkovic is scheduled to meet Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Liviu Dragnea, at Parliament and hold official talks with President Klaus Iohannis at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace.
