The decrees appointing the new Ministers of Defence - Radu Miruta and Economy - Irineu Darau were published on Tuesday in the Official Journal of Romania.
President Nicusor Dan signed the decrees and the swearing-in ceremony for the two Save Romania Union (USR) ministers will take place at 15:00, at the Cotroceni Palace.
Radu Miruta will take over the National Defence Minister office, while Irineu Darau will become the new Minister of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism.
Last Friday, the two were validated for these positions by the USR Political Committee, Agerpres informs.
Radu Miruta will also hold the position of Vice Prime Minister in the Bolojan Cabinet.
Moreover, Radu Miruta has been serving as interim of the Defence Ministry since 28 November, after President Nicusor Dan signed the decree acknowledging the resignation of Ionut Mosteanu.
Ionut Mosteanu announced his resignation following controversies related to his CV.
