The National Defence Minister, Mihnea Motoc condemns the double bomb attack in Istanbul and stresses that Romania remains engaged in the fight against terrorism.
"I received with sorrow the news about the terrorist attack in Istanbul that has once again thrown our ally and friend Turkey into mourning. I do condemn in the strongest words such attacks that have no excuse whatsoever and will never attain their purposes, whichever they are. I submit condolence to the grieving families. I also express at the same time a support message to the Turkish people. We stay engaged, along with Turkey and the entire Alliance, in the fight against terrorism, in any form of it and wherever it shows up," the minister wrote on Sunday on his Facebook page.
