"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati launched an institutional outreach campaign devoted to secondary school pupils from five districts in the Republic of Moldova, the university announced on Wednesday.
Over the course of a month, 100 students from Anenii Noi, Basarabeasca, Cimislia, UTA Gagauzia, and Cahul will participate in information sessions and campus visits to the university's faculties.
Beginning 15 October, our university will host a promotional campaign aimed at high school students from Moldova. They will explore the educational offer through guided visits to faculty buildings, laboratories, student accommodation and other facilities, the university informed.
The campaign kicked off with a visit by a group of 20 pupils from Anenii Noi, who were welcomed by Rector Marian Barbu and George Adrian Ifrim, Director of the International Relations Department. Both officials expressed the institution's commitment to supporting prospective Moldovan students.
The initiative is funded by the Ministry of Education and Research through the Special Situations Financing Fund.
