The electoral process was suspended on Sunday morning at a polling station in Cristian, Sibiu, because there was an error when handing out the ballot papers, the County Electoral Bureau announced.
''We inform you that the electoral process was suspended at polling station 266 in Cristian, as an error occurred when handing out the ballot papers - several ballots for mayor were given to one citizen,', said the Sibiu County Electoral Bureau.
According to the quoted source, the situation was promptly remedied: ''A report was drawn up by the president of the polling station to record the situation, then the electoral process was resumed under normal conditions,'' the source said.
