Former Culture Minister Vlad Alexandrescu on Friday told RFI that regarding the situation of the National Opera of Bucharest (ONB) he was "ill-advised" by one of his advisors, whose resignation he demanded.
On the other hand, Vlad Alexandrescu argues that he should have been supported more by Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos in the matter referring to the National Opera of Bucharest. "Between us there is a relationship of trust and community of ideals. I came to the Ministry of Culture called by Mr Ciolos, because I was and I remain convinced that he came to the helm of the Government to reform all areas and for this purpose I have made myself available to him," he said.
"I think that here, in the Opera issue, he could have supported me more, given me more trust and be convinced that I was studying all possibilities to unblock this situation. Indeed, it is a matter of trust,"Alexandrescu told RFI, when asked if he had something to reproach Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos.
