The government meeting this Friday will look among others at a bill on the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the United States of America on enhancing cooperation on the prevention and combat of serious crimes, as well as at a draft piece of legislation that complements the Government's Emergency Ordinance No. 179/2002 on the demilitarization of the units of the central structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and of the subordinate structures, the government announced in a release on Thursday.
The agenda of the meeting also includes a series of draft decisions, including one approving the amendment agreed between the government of Romania and the Council of Europe Development Bank, the Framework Loan Agreement for the financing of the project for the completion, renovation or revamping of public cultural buildings in Romania. Other draft decisions slated for debate refer to the approval of the rules for the implementation of the Law No. 256/2015 on the exercise of the profession of dietician, as well as the establishment, organization and functioning of the Romanian College of Dietitians.
Another project that might be discussed at the government's meeting on Friday is the one amending and complementing the Government's Decision No. 500/2017 approving the 'de minimis' aid scheme for the implementation of the program supporting sheep breeders market the wool.
The government will also discuss a series of draft decisions on the approval of the coat of arms for several localities and a memorandum on "Negotiating the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on cooperation on the prevention and combat of transnational organized crime and terrorism".
