The government approved on Wednesday new financial commitments worth more than RON 2.4 million to cover spending with the ICT infrastructure of the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity, as well as the addition of RON 900,000 to the said ministry's budget for projects financed from the amounts available through the NRRP loan component, the Executive said in a release.
The relevant memorandum approved provides for the conclusion of legal commitments for investment expense chapters listed at Art. 381 of Law No. 500/2002 and raises the limit on commitment credits for the October 2024 budget of the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity.
The new financial commitments are for the renewal of the antivirus license to ensure the security of the ministry's ICT infrastructure, for the purchase of Microsoft licenses for document management, for databases and the purchase of materials, network equipment, and VoIP terminals necessary for the rehabilitation of the data and voice network of the ministry, the cited source said.
