Heads of Parliament, Government, ministers pay their last respect to King Mihai at Peles Castle

The Senate's Speaker Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Liviu Dragnea, Prime Minister Mihai Tudose and several members of the Executive, arrived at the Peles Castle on Wednesday afternoon to pay their last respects to King Mihai. 

Calin Popescu-Tariceanu laid a wreath in front of the main entrance of the Peles Castle, after which he entered the Hall of Honor, where King Mihai's body is lying in state. 

Liviu Dragnea laid a wreath in front of the main entrance of the Peles Castle, after which he entered the Hall of Honor and paid his last respects to the king. Later, the speaker of the Chamber of Deputies signed in the book of condolence. 

Prime Minister Mihai Tudose and the delegation accompanying him from the Executive laid a wreath in front of the main entrance of the castle, after which they entered the Hall of Honor. 

On Wednesday, representatives of the Presidency and Government of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, members of the two countries' Parliament, other representatives of the state institutions and of the diplomatic corps of the EU and NATO, other international organizations, and of the Romanian Academy are expected to present their condolences at the Peles Castle.
