Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete announced on Saturday in Deva that starting in September, hospitals will have to publish on their website a series of transparency indicators in their activities, such as the number of hospitalized patients or the number of patients transferred to other hospitals.

"Starting in September, hospitals will be required to publish a series of transparency indicators on their website. Namely - the number of hospitalized patients, the bed occupancy rate in the previous month, the percentage of execution of the contract with the National Health Insurance House and the number of patients transferred to other hospitals," said the Minister of Health, agerpres reports.

Asked about the current state of construction of regional hospitals, the official indicated that the first to be put into use will be the one in Craiova.

"In 2022, when I arrived at the Ministry of Health, the three projects for regional hospitals were completely blocked. Then the tender for all three began, work is underway in Craiova and it will be the first regional hospital put into use. In Iasi, there was a contestation that was finalized and I estimate that actual work will begin in October, and in Cluj the tender has just been finalized," the Minister of Health detailed.

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, was on a working visit to hospitals in the municipalities of Hunedoara, Deva and Brad on Saturday.
