Social Democratic Party (PSD)'s President Sorin Grindeanu stated that he does not see in the near future or in the medium term a situation in which the social democrats would form a parliamentary majority with the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) party.
"I have answered this question, I think, at least 20 times, and I will answer it once more: there is no situation today, when we speak, and I do not see either in the near future or even in the medium term, in which the PSD would form a majority with the AUR party," Sorin Grindeanu stated on Wednesday in an interview with the website "stirileprotv.ro".
He confirmed that this is also the position of the PSD members.
"Since almost 5,000 people, meaning all PSD mayors, all county councilors, all county leadership structures, have decided to enter this coalition, I believe it is the best answer," Grindeanu also declared.
