Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca coordinated on Monday the reunion of the inter-institutional committee regarding the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics project, meeting during which the ELI-NP project's situation was presented and solutions were identified so that it could be implemented by the end of 2023, according to the calendar, a press release sent by the Government informs.

There were also talks about the way Romania can integrate in the ELI-ERIC (Extreme Light Infrastructure - European Research Infrastructure European Consortium) for achieving the goal set by our country, Agerpres.ro informs.

Furthermore, the quoted source reminds, the PM recently carried out a work visit at the Horia Hulubei National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering, where he visited the logistic facilities of the institute, experiment rooms and laboratories within the ELI-NP project and discussed with Romanian researchers about a tighter collaboration among the research environment, the academic one and the private sector.
