The healthcare industrial action organised by the Sanitas Federation on Tuesday will be temporarily called off, Sanitas First Deputy Chairman Marius Sepi, said Tuesday noon at Parliament Palace.
He said that protests will be suspended out of solidarity with the patients' distress in the first place.
Earlier on Tuesday, Sanitas trade union's leader Leonard Barascu said the healthcare staff's strike continues starting at 08:00hrs, until amendments to Ordinance 20/2016 agreed upon with the trade unions are voted on at a plenary session of Parliament, after having been adopted by the MPs of the budget and labour committees.
