Industrial production prices, overall (domestic and foreign markets), increased by 0.7 pct in October this year as compared to the previous month, however as against the same period last year, prices went up by 4 pct, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS) sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
On the domestic market, prices advanced 1 pct as compared to September and by 3.3 pct as against October 2016 while on the foreign market, prices went up 0.1 pct compared to the previous months and 5.3 pct on an annual basis.
The situation by large industrial groups reveals that in October 2017, as compared to September, the most important advance, of 2 pct, was recorded in the energy industry, followed by the intermediate goods industry - 0.5 pct and the capital goods and durable goods industry, each with a 0.3 pct plus. The prices of current goods industry registered a 0.1 pct drop.
As compared to last year's October, the most significant price growths were registered in the intermediate goods industry (6 pct), the durable goods industry (4.1 pct), the capital goods industry (3.6 pct), the current goods industry (3.4 pct) and the energy industry (2.3 pct).
