Prime Minister-designate Siegfried Muresan spoke on Saturday about his vision for Romania, saying that the state should work for its citizens.
'We have a clear vision for Romania: A modern Romania, where people spend less time dealing with bureaucracy and receive quality public services. A prosperous Romania, where people's work enables them to live better, rather than merely cover their expenses from one month to the next. A fair Romania, where the law is the same for everyone, regardless of their position or connections. A secure Romania, which protects its citizens and remains a reliable partner in the European Union and NATO,' he wrote on Facebook.
He said that hearings for the proposed ministers would begin next week, followed by the confidence vote in Parliament.
'We are ready to defend our programme and take responsibility for governing,' Muresan said.
