Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (USV) has announced the launch of the international Master's programme "Inclusion Studies" (Studies in Educational and Social Inclusion), developed jointly with the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and Bielefeld University (Germany) within the European university alliance NEOLAiA, the higher education institution said on Friday.
According to a statement issued by USV, the programme is designed as a two-year multiple-degree Master's, taught entirely in English, offering students a modern, interdisciplinary academic pathway anchored in current challenges in the field of inclusion. Upon completion, graduates will be able to obtain degrees issued by each of the three partner universities.
"The international Master's programme in Educational and Social Inclusion Studies brings together contemporary perspectives on inclusion and solid European academic collaboration, building on the expertise of specialists from the partner universities. Through its structure and content, the programme aims to train graduates capable of analysing and managing inclusion processes in diverse educational, social and organisational contexts, with an emphasis on applied solutions, social responsibility and community impact. The NEOLAiA dimension ensures an authentic European learning environment through joint academic activities, interaction with professors from partner universities, and opportunities for mobility and international cooperation," USV officials stated.
The academic pathway is organised over four semesters, each worth 30 transferable credits, carried out consecutively at the partner universities: semester one at the University of Ostrava, semester two at Bielefeld University, semester three at Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, while semester four is delivered jointly by the three universities and academically administered by Bielefeld University, with students able to choose the location depending on the topic of their dissertation.
The Inclusion Studies programme will commence in the 2027/2028 academic year.
