Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he appreciates the friendship between his country and Romania, expressing hope that President Klaus Iohannis will decide to move the Romanian embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Speaking exclusively to STIRIPESURSE.RO from his office in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said that his partnerships with the Romanian administrations have always been very strong.
„I appreciate the frendship of president Iohannis and of the people of Romania. By the way, throug successive administration I have to say... very strong partnership and very strong friendship”, said Benjamin Netanyahu.
Asked if he believes that Romania will move its embassy, the Israeli Prime Minister replied: „You'll have to ask president Iohannis and I hope it does soon. But it'a hope, it's not something that I can express beyond that.”
