Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "several countries", including European countries, are considering moving their embassies to Jerusalem after US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize the city as the capital of Israel.
Speaking exclusively to STIRIPESURSE.RO from his office in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said the US decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem could lead the way for others to follow.
"I think many countries will follow. We are talking to quite a few of them. I think there is an interest in several countries to do the same and when the US moves its embassy I expect other countries to follow. Some European countries too", Netanyahu told STIRIPESURSE.RO.
