JusMin Toader, EU Green leader Keller discuss Justice package, amendments to Criminal Codes

The Justice package and the amendments to the Criminal Codes were among the subjects of talks at the meeting in Brussels of Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader and Green group co-chair Ska Keller, the Justice Ministry informs in a release. 

Justice Minister Tudorel Toader and Secretary of State Marieta Safta met on Wednesday EP Green group leader Ska Keller, with the talks focusing on the justice reform package and the amendments to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code. 

In this context, the Minister of Justice answered questions regarding the effects of the Constitutional Court decisions on the justice laws, the obligations falling on the authorities after the handing down of the said decisions, the parliamentary procedure and the role of the government and Parliament in amending criminal law.
