Justice Minister Tudorel Toader mentioned on Thursday that he will surely make a decision this year, following the control of the Judiciary Inspection at the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA).

"I have requested (...) the control, the Inspection [Judiciary Inspection] conducted the two checks, drew up the reports, the one at DNA has over five hundred pages. It's not only my moral obligation, but my legal one, to capitalise on the results of the control report. I cannot pretend that nothing happened, I cannot throw aside the report and carry on with the future, we will mind our business, but I cannot neglect that report which I should capitalise on, with a result that I will publicly present, no matter what it will be. Regardless of what I will determine following the assessment of the report's conclusions, a part will agree and the other part will criticise me. It's a matter of nuance, who will agree and who will criticise me, the mathematic result will be the same. The assessment will be done not only in view of the Inspection report, but (...) I will integrate the conclusions that I will draw from the report in an overall assessment of the activities carried out by those entities," Tudorel Toader told Antena 3 private television station.

When asked when he estimates a decision following the report, Toader responded: "I wouldn't know the exact day, but shortly, surely this year." AGERPRES .
