President Klaus Iohannis said on Tuesday that Romania's accession to Schengen remains a priority for our country.

"I reiterate that Romania's accession to the Schengen Area is still a priority for us. We are convinced that this demarche can make a significant contribution to the consolidation of security for the entire EU free movement area," Iohannis said at the annual meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest.
