The League of Romanian Students Abroad (LSRS), the Italian branch, will organise on Wednesday the webinar titled "The Future of European Political Movements", a debate about the importance of democracy in European politics and the relevance of citizens' participation in governance through their representatives. This conference aims to examine the presence of various existing groups in the European political spectrum, in the context of the geopolitical and economic difficulties of recent years.
The guest at this event is Daniela Pisoiu, senior researcher at the Austrian Institute for International Affairs, whose research fields are terrorism, radicalization, extremism, comparative regional security, American and European foreign and security policy, informs a press release issued by LSRS.
Daniela Pisoiu competed her PhD at the University of St Andrews, Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, and has conducted fieldwork on the topic of radicalization in Austria, Germany and France, as well as other European countries.
This is the second conference within the online event European's Union Global Implications: Romania's membership, a project whose purpose is to offer students quality education in the field of political sciences and international relations.
