Lines of trucks of up to eight kilometers formed, on Wednesday, up ahead the Nadlac II and Varsand Border Crossing Points, where drivers have been waiting at least two and a half hours for the border crossing formalities to get into Hungary, both because of the large number of trucks arriving at the border and because the neighboring country did not allocate enough personnel for control, told Agerpres.
According to the "Online traffic" application on the Border Police website, three control arteries are open at the Nadlac II for heavy traffic, on the way out of the country.
"Intense traffic - a large number of trucks present at the border checks on the way out of the country. Lack of personnel on behalf of the Hungarian authorities," the application conveys.
According to the quoted source, drivers await at least 150 minutes to complete the exit formalities.
At the Varsand crossing point, three exit arteries are open (maximum capacity) for heavy traffic and drivers await a minimum of 180 minutes. At the Nadlac I crossing point, an artery is open and drivers have to wait 80 minutes.
The Arad Border Police told AGERPRES, that up ahead the Nadlac II, the line of trucks formed on the highway is eight kilometers long, and up ahead the Varsand crossing point, the line is six kilometers long, on the national road.
On the way to enter Romania, there are problems only at the Nadlac II, where truck drivers wait an hour to cross the border.
