Ciprian Ciucu, the National Liberal Party candidate, obtained 35.38% of the votes in the local by-elections held on Sunday for the position of general mayor of Bucharest, according to the data published in real time on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority after the centralisation of 1,162 minutes out of a total of 1,289 polling stations, meaning 90.15%.
