The current majority formed by the National Liberal Party (PNL), Save Romania Union (USR) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD) must continue in the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest (CGMB), said the PNL candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, Ciprian Ciucu, regarded as the winner of the partial elections in Bucharest after the first exit poll results were presented.

'Tomorrow morning I will go to the Sector 6 City Hall because I have been there throughout this campaign. A mayor has work to do, the City Hall cannot stop because of an electoral campaign and I will set my schedule afterwards. I will probably speak a lot with the press in the first period, then I will take some time to put my ideas and priorities in order and afterwards I will present my vision in a press conference and in individual interviews,' said Ciprian Ciucu when asked on Antena 3 private television broadcaster what schedule he will have on Tuesday.

He stressed that the current majority at the level of the Bucharest City Hall must be maintained when asked what majority he would rely on in the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest.

'In my view the current majority formed by the PNL, USR and PSD must continue because it is the same majority that exists at the level of the Government of Romania and this is the majority I want, obviously with USR at the table. Things are arranged this way and I want them to remain so,' Ciucu added.
