By 21:00, 32.60% of eligible voters in Bucharest had cast their ballots for the future general mayor of the Capital.
In Bucharest, 1,289 polling stations were organised, with the highest numbers in Sectors 3 and 6. Sector 1 had 166 stations, Sector 2 - 202, Sector 3 - 294, Sector 4 - 189, Sector 5 - 198, and Sector 6 - 240.
The Electoral Bureau of Constituency No. 42 - Bucharest Municipality brought to mind throughout the day that for the local by-elections for the general mayor of the Capital 'voting closes at 21:00 with no possibility of extension.'
