The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, begins a three-day official visit to Israel on Tuesday, as part of a delegation led by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Grindeanu.
"The visit is part of Romania's efforts to expand international cooperation and to adopt best practices relevant to the development of the healthcare system, healthcare digitalisation and health insurance," the Ministry of Health informed.
The agenda includes discussions with the Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as visits to leading hospitals such as Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and Herzog Hospital.
Meetings are also scheduled with representatives of the private healthcare and health insurance sectors, including Meuhedet Health Services.
