New registrations of passenger vehicles were 32.2 percent higher in Q3 2017 than in the same quarter of the year before, with the most significant increase, of 32.7 percent, in the car category, shows data of the National Statistics Institute (INS) released on Monday.
New registrations of freight vehicles advanced 3 percent compared to Q3 2016. In a year-over-year comparison there was an advance of 5.5 percent and 2.2 percent, respectively for trailers and semitrailers, and a drop of 7 percent for trucks.
New registrations of passenger vehicles were 7.1 percent up in Q3 2017 from Q2 2017, whereas new registrations of freight vehicles dropped 7.5 percent. AGERPRES .
