AGERPRES special correspondent Oana Ghita reports: The situation at the Constitutional Court (CCR) is "a social conflict", President Nicusor Dan said on Tuesday, commenting on the repeated postponements of the meeting in which the constitutional judges are to examine the referral regarding the reform of the magistrates' pensions.

"I don't want to stir up passion in general, because passion breeds hatred and hatred is not good in society," said the head of state.

He voiced his opinion that the situation at the CCR "is a social conflict, and each side is trying to use the methods within their reach that are legal".

The Romanian president participated on Tuesday in the Coalition of the Willing summit in Paris.
