Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Christian Orthodox Church delivered a message at the beginning of the new academic year in which he says that there is no greater investment for the future of young people than integral education: scientific, professional and spiritual, in harmony with the faith, culture and hope of the Romanian people.
"The beginning of each academic year, in addition to the festive moment and the joy that a new generation crosses the threshold of the University for the first time, reminds us that education is a right and a fundamental good of contemporary societies, which must be protected and promoted in order to offer young people the beauty and benefit of Romanian university education, to professors- the prestige and social dignity of the pedagogical profession, and to parents - the confidence that there is no greater investment for the future of their children than integral education: scientific, professional and spiritual, in harmony with the faith, culture and hope of the Romanian people," Daniel said.
On the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026, Patriarch Daniel blesses students, teachers and parents.
"At the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026, we want to convey a message of blessing to all students and professors in university and postgraduate education, praying to God to enlighten their minds and to give them much growth in the activity of study, research and deepening of scientific and spiritual values."
