U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu reviewed bilateral cooperation on defense, energy and countering illegal migration, during a telephone conversation on Thursday, the U.S. Department of State reported.
According to a statement by spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, posted on the U.S. Department of State's website, the U.S. Secretary of State reiterated to the Romanian Foreign Minister the U.S. desire for fair and balanced trade.
Marco Rubio welcomed Romania's participation in the Electronic Nationality Verification program, according to the same source.
