PM Ciolacu's first visit to Brussels starts with meeting European Council President Charles Michel

Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu's first official visit to Brussels after taking over as the prime minister began with a meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel on Friday, told Agerpres.

The two officials met around 10:30hrs, with the meeting being the first of the important moments scheduled for the day. According to the official schedule, around noon, Ciolacu will have a meeting with director general of Recovery and Resilience Task Force (RECOVER) Celine Gauer.

Also on Friday, Ciolacu was expected to have talks with President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen and President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.
