Prime Minister Mihai Tudose said on Wednesday he does not intend to dismiss Health Minister Florian Bodog, adding that he had asked for measures to resolve the immunoglobulin crisis and was assured that the problems would be solved.

Asked in Parliament if he is going to replace Bodog as health minister, Tudose answered: "No."

Referring to the fact that a patient has died due to lack of immunoglobulin, Tudose said he had asked for measures and was assured that the problems would be solved.

"We had a discussion today, we asked for measures, and it seems they have found a claw-back suspension clause for the products in that range. They have all said the problems will be solved," added Tudose.

The prime minister was at Parliament on Wednesday at the office of the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Liviu Dragnea.

The government will propose next week an emergency ordinance to suspend the claw-back fee for blood plasma products, doctor Alexis Cochino, a pediatric immunologist at the Mother and Child Health Institute in Bucharest, has announced after talks with the Tudose and Bodog on an ongoing shortage of immunoglobulin.
