President Nicusor Dan and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan met at Cotroceni Palace on Monday to discuss preparations for the Prime Minister's two-day official visit to Germany, as well as Romania's 2026 budget, the Presidential Administration announced.
According to government sources, the draft budget is expected to be approved in February.
A meeting of the governing coalition is also scheduled for Monday at Victoria Palace.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will pay an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on January 27 - 28, being scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz.
