President Nicusor Dan is meeting today the leaders of the ruling coalition.
They are invited to the Cotroceni Presidential Palace at 11:00hrs, according to the public agenda of the head of state.
The ruling coalition should move forward, regardless of the situation, Senate Chairman Mircea Abrudean said on Monday, adding that he does not believe that Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will resign.
"The public communications that the prime minister has made lately, quite often, on this topic I do not know of any other discussions. I don't know of any other discussions," Abrudean said, when asked if, now, the prime minister's option to resign still stands if he does not pass part of the commitment he made in Parliament.
Romania's Constitutional Court is due to consider on Wednesday a notification of the Supreme Court of Justice and Cassation of Justice in relation to the law on magistrates' pensions, which the government passed by assuming responsibility before Parliament.
