The meeting between President Nicusor Dan and the leaders of the governing coalition, which took place on Tuesday at Cotroceni Palace, has ended.
The meeting was called for 3:00 p.m., a day after the coalition leaders established several budgetary measures.
Furthermore, the meeting at Cotroceni Palace took place just two days before President Nicusor Dan participates in the first meeting of the Peace Council, organized by U.S. President Donald Trump, in Washington.
On Monday, the leaders of the four parties of the governing coalition and the national minorities group established that the public administration reform and the economic recovery package will be adopted by emergency ordinance immediately after the end of the approval, with several amendments regarding the institutions of the defense system, public order, national security, education, health and culture.
At the same time, regarding local taxes and duties, the coalition decided "to work on several proposals for amendments regarding the situation created following the application of the overtaxation quotas, the situation of buildings older than 50 years and people with disabilities".
