UDMR (Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania) chair Kelemen Hunor on Sunday stated, upon leaving the polling station, that he voted for the best option for Romania.
"I voted for the candidate who in my perception is the good option, the good choice for Romania, for the Hungarian community and for the years to come. I ask all those who did not vote, who are still thinking, to go, to vote for the future of every person, every family, for the future of children and grandchildren and not to let others decide for you." said Kelemen Hunor upon leaving the polling station, agerpres reports.
He also said that he hopes that "starting tomorrow, Romania will continue that European path that it embarked on 35 years ago."
He voted on Sunday at a polling station in Cluj-Napoca.
