PSD (Social Democratic Party) leader Sorin Grindeanu on Wednesday stated that nobody wants such exceptions to exist in the draft law banning the cumulation of pension with a salary, but there are, still, certain decision of the Constitutional Court (CCR) that must be observed.

He answered thus to a question regarding the possible exceptions with respect to certain categories existing in the draft law banning the cumulation of pensions with a salary and if there are any controversies inside the governing coalition related to this, agerpres reports.

"There are no such controversies. I believe that the minister of labour explained everything very clearly yesterday. Nobody wants such exceptions, And by nobody I mean nobody. However, there are certain decision of the CCR that we need to consider in relation to some categories. We need to observe these decisions, but this is all, there is nothing else to it," Grindeau said at the Parliament Palace.

He specified, however, that the first version of the draft law did include some exceptions, which were later eliminated by the minister of labour at his request.
