The turnover volume in retail (with the exception of commerce with automobiles and motorcycles) has gone up during the first two months of the year as opposed to the same period of 2021, for both gross series, by 5.6%, as well as adjusted series, based on the number of working days and seasonality by 9.1%, according to the data published the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Wednesday, Agerpres reports.
For adjusted series, the 9.1% increase was generated by growth registered in retail trade of motor fuels in specialized shops (+12.7%), sale of non-food items (+6.4%) and sale of food, beverages and tobacco (+4.1%).
