Six business communities from Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine are accelerating AI- and Big Data-driven regional cooperation through a new edition of the AI & Big Data Conference - Regional AI Valley, which will take place in Bucharest on March 3, AmCham Romania announced on Wednesday.

AmCham Romania, AmCham Moldova and AmCham Ukraine, together with the IT industry associations ANIS Romania, ATIC Moldova and the IT-Ukraine Association, are organizing the third edition of the conference. The initiative reflects the business community's view that a coordinated regional approach to artificial intelligence is essential in an economic and geopolitical context marked by rapid transformation.

On March 6, Bucharest will host international experts, business leaders, professionals, officials, academics and public-sector representatives for a landmark edition of the event, highlighting the strategic role of AI and Big Data in boosting economic competitiveness, modernizing public administration and strengthening regional resilience, including in security and defense.

The event positions AI not only as an emerging technology, but as a strategic instrument for growth, institutional efficiency and security. It creates a platform for applied dialogue between the private sector, public administrations and the innovation ecosystem, focusing on how AI and Big Data can support business decisions, productivity, innovation, data-driven public policies, digital public services and enhanced defense and cybersecurity capabilities.

More than 70 speakers will address sector-specific themes, present case studies and success models, and discuss practical challenges, offering strategic insights and solutions for managers, founders and decision-makers involved in digital transformation and the integration of AI and Big Data across industries and public institutions.

Through this joint initiative, the six business communities take up the role of catalysts for regional cooperation in artificial intelligence and Big Data, promoting innovation, responsibility and strategic alignment.

After two editions in Chisinau, the AI & Big Data Conference - Regional AI Valley consolidates its status with the Bucharest edition as a regional benchmark for discussions on how emerging technologies can strengthen competitiveness, good governance and resilience in Eastern Europe.
