Romania women's ice hockey team defeated the Lithuanian team with a score of 2-1 (0-1, 1-0, 1-0), on Monday, in Belgrade, within the 2025 World Championship, Division III, Group A.

Gabija Petrauskaite opened the scoring for the Lithuanians (05:20), but the tricolors leveled through Julia Bende (33:41), and Edit Szekeres scored the winning goal (51:53).

Romania has the maximum number of points (6) after two games, after defeating Croatia 4-3, on Sunday, in its first match. Serbia and Lithuania have 3 points each, and Croatia, Thailand and South Africa, none.

Romania will play its next match against Thailand, on March 5 (17:00).
