Romania's Ministry of Health, together with the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, is mobilising healthcare professionals who want to be part of medical teams available to travel to the affected areas upon requests from the Israeli side.
According to a press statement, a blood donation campaign was organised for the victims of the attacks who needed transfusions.
"Immediately after the attacks in Israel, Health Minister Alexandru Rafila contacted Israel's ambassador to Romania Azar Reuven to express his solidarity and offer support in these critical moments. Romania and Israel have had a lasting relationship in time in terms of co-operation in the medical field and we are convinced that through solidarity we will overcome these difficult moments. The Ministry of Health, together with the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, is mobilising healthcare professionals who want to be part of medical teams available for travelling to the affected areas, upon requests from the Israeli side. At the same time, a blood donation campaign was organised for the victims of the attacks who needed transfusions."
More information about the registration of doctors and nurses as volunteers for the teams required to provide medical assistance and about the locations for donating blood intended for the victims of the attacks can be found on the web page: www.ms.ro.
