The Oil and Gas Employers Federation (FPPG), under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, is organising the 6th edition of the Romanian International Gas Conference - RIGC 2023, from November 7 to 8, with the theme "Redefining Security of Supply. The potential of new technologies for a sustainable energy transition."
According to the organisers, the conference will bring together officials from the European Union institutions, government representatives from the EU member states as well as from the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and South-Eastern Europe (SE) regions, and will also bring together representatives from the oil and gas industry and other key figures from the international energy sector.
During the two-day event, Sebastian Burduja - Minister of Energy, Franck Neel - President of FPPG, Stefan-Radu Oprea - Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Cristian Busoi - Member of the European Parliament, Christina Verchere - CEO OMV Petrom, Razvan Popescu - CEO Romgaz, Ion Sterian - Director General Transgaz, George Niculescu - President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Alexandru Petrescu - President of the National Agency for Mineral Resources (ANRM) and Dumitru Chisalita - President of the Intelligent Energy Association, are among those expected to participate in the debates.
