The Romanian Parliament on Tuesday will light up in the colours of the Ukrainian flag to mark four years since the outset of Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine.
"The main facade of the Palace of Parliament in Constitution Square, will be illuminated on Tuesday in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, and the Ukrainian flag will be hoisted, on the same day, in front of the Romanian Parliament. The institution thus joins other states in the world that will commemorate, on this date, through a joint gesture of solidarity, the victims of the war," the Romanian Chamber of Deputies announced in a press statement on Monday.
On Monday, at the beginning of the plenary session of the legislative forum in Bucharest, at 16:00, a moment of silence to commemorate the citizens of Ukraine killed in the war will be kept.
February 24 marks four years since the Russian Federation launched its war of aggression against Ukraine.
