The Romanian Youth Orchestra (ORT) will officially open the 2025 edition of the Young Euro Classic Festival in Berlin on August 1, and will perform the same program in preview of the Berlin concert on July 30 in Sinaia (Prahova County).

According to a press release issued on Monday by the "Tinerimea Romana" National Art Center, the Romanian Youth Orchestra will open the festival on August 1, at 7:00 p.m., at the Konzerthaus Berlin's Grand Hall, as part of the Europe in Focus section. The conductor will be Katharina Wincor, and the soloist will be Ioana Cristina Goicea, one of the most acclaimed Romanian violinists of the new generation. The evening's repertoire includes: Adrian Pop - Hore, Jean Sibelius - Concerto in D major for violin and orchestra, op. 47, and Sergei Rachmaninov - Symphonic Dances, op. 45.

In preview of the concert in Berlin, the Romanian Youth Orchestra will perform the same program on July 30, at 7:00 p.m., at the Casino Hall in Sinaia.

The Romanian Youth Orchestra (ORT) participate for the eighth time in the Young Euro Classic Festival in Berlin. The festival, renowned for its high artistic standards, invites only the most talented youth orchestras internationally. The ORT's consistent participation confirms the Romanian orchestra's status as an elite ensemble in the European music scene.
