Romanian athlete Luca Joldea of CS Dinamo on Monday won the bronze medal in the 10-metre air pistol men junior event at the European Junior Shooting Sport Championships in Osijek, Croatia.
In the final, Joldea, coached by Daniela Cohanciuc, totalled 219.1 points, while his compatriot Levente Matyas Bucsias of CSU Oradea, coached by Adriana Floruta, finished 8th, with 112.1 points.
The gold medal went to Belarusian Mikalai Yakuta (240.4 points), and the silver medal to Ukrainian Maksym Himon (238.3 points).
Team Romania - Luca Joldea, Constantin Daniel Feraru, Levente Matyas Bucsias - also won bronze in the team competition, with 1,706 points, behind Italy (1,716 points) and Ukraine (1,708 points).
